Miler Lagos was born in 1973 in Bogotá, where he lives and works. He graduated in Fine Arts from the National University of Colombia and studied mechanical engineering at the University of America in Bogotá. He has completed artistic residency programs in London, Berlin, Toronto, New York and Medellin. During his career he has participated in a number of international conferences, including the Biennale of Santa Fe in New Mexico, Philagrafika in Philadelphia, Biennial of the Americas in Denver, Second Triennial Poligráfica in Puerto Rico, Valparaiso-Interventions in Chile, Bienal de Bogotá, the Meeting of Medellin and he is currently developing a project for the XIII Bienal de Cuenca.

His work has been exhibited individually and collectively in cultural institutions such as: Frost Art Museum in Miami, Claremont Museum of Los Angeles, Amparo Museum in Puebla, Museum of Contemporary Art in Monterrey in Mexico, among others. In Colombia Lagos has exhibited at the Museum of Antioquia in Medellin, Museum of National University of Colombia in Bogotá Arts, Museum La Tertulia Cali, Bogotá Museum of Modern Art, and the Museum of Modern Art of Barranquilla.
