Guillaume Zuili

Guillaume Zuili was born in Paris in 1965. He has been documenting history through black & white and double exposures since he was 21. Through his extensive travels, he has constructed portraits of Paris, Berlin and Moscow, revealing their intricate layers of time and history. From 1986-1995, he traveled extensively throughout India which resulted in the publishing of 2 bodies of work regarding French settlements in India. Since his move to LA from Paris in 2002, Zuili has experienced a shift in his work as a photographer. For the past several years, he has dedicated himself to exploring urban universes, particularly fascinated by California.
Guillaume Zuili has been a member of VU Agency, Paris since 1992 and currently works for the French press, Liberation, Le Monde, Telerama, and Le Nouvel Obs.
